The legendary Great Digital Preservation Bake Off returns to iPRES 2025. Think of it as a high-energy demo session for the latest and greatest in digital preservation tools. Just like in a real kitchen, bakers (aka toolmakers and practitioners) will whip up short, flavorful demos to showcase how their tools can solve real preservation challenges.
Bring your curiosity and your appetite; this year’s Tool Demo Bake Off promises a feast of ideas!
Two Styles of Demos
🥄 Tasting Spoon: bite-sized tool demos that give you a quick flavor of what’s possible.
🥟 Amuse Bouche: slightly heartier portions—still short and tasty, but enough to sink your teeth into.
The Bake Off will be served up in three sessions on Wednesday, 5 November, each featuring a menu of inventive entries.
