Can’t make it to Wellington in person in November? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!

What can I access as a virtual attendee?
The iPRES 2025 Programme features something for everyone, whether you're brand new to digital preservation or deep into the journey, with seven dynamic session tracks.
A virtual registration ticket gives you access to the Hybrid and Virtual Tracks. These are marked in the programme by icons:

Hybrid sessions bring together in-person and remote attendees and are streamed live from our conference venue.
Our three Hybrid Tracks are real-time and recorded sessions for both in-person and remote attendees. These include the opening and closing ceremonies, the three keynotes, six panels, two tutorials, the ever-popular Bake-off tool demo, and many papers, lightning talks, and poster previews.

Virtual sessions, on the other hand, take place entirely online — all participants, including presenters, join remotely. Virtual participants will be from different time zones all across the globe.
Our Virtual Track includes live and recorded virtual presentations of papers, one workshop and tutorial, five Birds of a Feather sessions, pre-recorded lightning talks, and the return of iPRES Radio.
How can I watch?
Remote participants will have access to all three Hybrid streams, as well as Virtual content, via the EventsAir conference app.
Hybrid and virtual sessions will be available to watch asynchronously, at a time convenient to you. So don’t worry, you won’t need to be awake at 2am to participate (unless you want to be!)
Registered participants - in person and virtual - will have access to recordings following the conference for a set period of time.
Are all conference sessions being recorded?
Programme items marked ‘In-Person’ will not be recorded or streamed. These include certain workshops and tutorials, games, Birds of a Feather discussion sessions, and social events.

But don't worry! Our iPRES Radio correspondents on the ground will be sharing insights from these sessions, as appropriate. And of course, submissions will be available in the conference proceedings.
Don't miss out!
Make sure to register by 1 September to take advantage of early bird discount rates! We also have student discounts available.
We look forward to seeing you online in November!
