The NZ Photographers of Cultural Collections (NZPCC) is a group of photographers and imaging professionals working across Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums across Aotearoa. We photograph cultural collections from paintings through to scientific specimens. And from intangible culture, through flat copy digitisation to 3D scanning.
The forum is a chance to share knowledge and build professional networks kanohi ki te kanohi (face to face). It provides valuable professional development that is otherwise hard to come by for this specialised field. We specifically aim to help smaller institutions by democratising specialist knowledge and building a network of support across the country.
iPRES attendees with an interest in photography of cultural heritage materials are welcome to register and join us on the 3rd of November. Forum registrations close on Thursday 23rd October.
